AROYAL Navy wren has been charged with smuggling cocaine worth pounds 1m into the country on board an anti-drugs warship.

Steward Teresa Matos, 36, from Gateshead, allegedly brought 12kg of the drug into Plymouth on board destroyer HMS Manchester.
