FANS of fashion were delighted when earlier this year we were told not only was Tyneside's first standalone designer shop opening, but it was the grande dame of UK fashion, Vivienne Westwood herself, who was opening the boutique.

Opening a week today in Hood Street, Newcastle, it will showcase Vivienne's Gold Label, Red Label, MEN and Anglomania ranges.
