The average pay for executives in large United Kingdom companies is stated to be pounds 3.3m and a brakes factory is moving production to eastern Europe, at a cost of 400 jobs.

We Cost Too Much ( Except Directors

I believe that, at present, the directors of every manufacturing company are doing their utmost to protect their own salaries by cutting their UK workforce and sourcing abroad.

Yet we are still covering green field sites with factories. The people building them (paid by the taxpayer) seem confident that big companies are just waiting to start up, and ignore the recent history of closures.
