AFTER a summer spent losing players, Durham City start their UniBond Premier campaign boosted by a "major, major signing" in the shape of Chris Moore. Lee Collings' side has seen the likes of Steve Richardson and Stephen Harrison join Gateshead and Blyth Spartans respectively, while a number of players have left for Spennymoor.
That has caused a serious setback to City's pre-season plans but as they prepare to entertain Ashton United this afternoon, Collings is delighted to have tempted former Newcastle United youngster Moore away from Whitley Bay.
