A young woman who was driving a car which plummeted off a bridge and killed its three occupants was over the drink-drive limit.

Liz Carroll was behind the wheel of her blue Renault Clio when she lost control on Wylam Bridge in Northumberland and ploughed into iron railings before plunging into the River Tyne below on February 19 this year.
