WOMEN in some of the country's top finance firms receive around 80% less in performance-related pay than male colleagues, says an official report to be released today.
An inquiry by the Equality and Human Rights Commission also found most women starting new jobs in finance companies receive lower salaries than men. And its findings suggest the "shocking disparity" in earnings was being "entrenched" by recruitment patterns. Women earned an average of pounds 2,875 in annual performance-related pay compared to pounds 14,554 for men, a gap of almost 80%, according to the research.See the full content of this document
