Three men were yesterday charged in connection with a series of robberies on security vans over the last year.
Detectives investigating incidents during which security guards were sprayed with chemicals yesterday said three men would be appearing in court charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to steal. Mark Alan Day, 37, of Kidderminster Square in Sunderland; Matthew Edward Richardson, 43, of The Haynyng in Felling, Gateshead; and James Richardson, 38, of Eastbourne Parade in Hebburn, are all due to appear at Gateshead Magistrates' Court on December 8.See the full content of this document
