Summary
Cardiff Castle dates back to Roman times but its best loved features are the lavish interiors created for the Third Marquess of Bute, a 19th- Century entrepreneur, by the eccentric architect William Burges. Tickets cost pounds 6 for a 50-minute tour or pounds 3 if you want to visit just the grounds.
