Abiofuel company is to spend up to pounds 100m building the UK's first large-scale bioethanol plants, including one on Teesside, by 2008.

North Yorkshire-based Vireol was set up in September and will now look to list on the Alternative Investment Market to finance the Teesside plant and another on Humberside.
