It must be especially tricky designing a new version of the iconic MINI. You can have all the ideas in the world, but, in the end, it has to look like a Mini. So evolution is the name of the game, not revolution. Having said that, a lot of good work has gone into this second-generation BMW MINI ( every external panel has been changed, and if the alterations are subtle rather than dramatic, they are worth while. The overall look is bolder, particularly at the face with its wider-set lights, and stronger, too, courtesy of a higher shoulder line.
