RESIDENTS who say their historic city centre street is being turned into a "university campus" have been left dismayed after a planning inspector found in favour of a student landlord.

A public inquiry was held to decide whether an extension built onto a property at 33 Whinney Hill, Durham, which was built without planning permission, should be demolished.
