Graeme Storm put himself nicely into position to join Kenneth Ferrie in next week's Open at Hoylake with a pace-setting 68 yesterday.

The 28-year-old from Hartlepool ended up in a tie for the halfway lead at four under par at West Lancashire ( one of four courses being used for final qualifying for next week's Open Championship.
