Although the recent weather decimated angling last weekend, mid- week saw anglers out and catching fish on the Tees, Wear and even on the Tyne, where a dace catch into double figures was made at the TAA tidal stretch at Newburn on Tuesday, with all the fish coming in the last two hours before darkness.
