A GROUND-breaking scheme to build a "Bath of the North" in County Durham took a major step forward yesterday.

Detailed plans were unveiled for the Renewable Energy Village in Weardale which is hoped will create at least 350 jobs on the former Lafarge Blue Circle cement works, Eastgate.
