IT would be remiss of me if I didn't write about snow this week. After all, we have been inflicted with it for more than a week and the forecasters talk about us having a further week and possibly more of the same.

I must admit to being a bit gung ho when I was in London on Monday. They were in fear of the 2cm (1in) of snow forecast for Tuesday. "Huh, call that snow? We've got it up to our window cills," I bragged. Well, not quite cill depth, but deep and, to be honest, I am a bit bored with it, so can it go away, please!
