Venture capital group 3i has bought fashion group Hobbs from Barclays Private Equity.
Barclays backed a management buy-out of the women's fashion retailer in 2003. Profits since have doubled to pounds 9m annually, and the number of outlets has grown from 34 to 60. 3i aims to reach 80 outlets by the end of 2006.See the full content of this document
