Police patrolling an upmarket suburb made two arrests after following their noses to uncover a cannabis farm.
The team were passing near to a house Hazlewood Avenue, in Jesmond, when they smelled the Class C drug at around 1.30am on Saturday. They raided the property, seizing around 50 cannabis plants being grown in a bedroom upstairs under a water and lighting system.See the full content of this document
