ALTHOUGH catches of chub from the Tees around Yarm's stretch at Middleton has seen fish up to 3lb 8oz falling to bread, the cold weather and seasonal shopping duties combined to see a low turnout on the rivers last weekend. However, with the extra free time available and the unseasonal mild weather, angling activity is sure to increase greatly over this next week.
