THE arrival of Kieran Richardson could kick off Sunderland's summer sales. The versatile 22-year-old is on the verge of a pounds 5.5m move from Manchester United and with Michael Chopra joining from Cardiff City last week and Greg Halford signing from Reading in June, some fringe players could now be allowed to leave.
Stephen Elliott and Tobias Hysen are the most likely after being pushed down the pecking order by Chopra and Richardson respectively.
