Summary
Iattended a meeting yesterday, held in the Middle School, Wooler, to allow parents of pupils in the school and past pupils to put forward their views on the options put forward by the county council to replace the present three-tier system of education which has stood the test of time for many years.
It was interesting to listen and learn that the reason for change had little to do with enhancing education but was mainly a cost- cutting exercise to save money in the future.See the full content of this document
