Summary
This week I attended a meeting where a number of business organisations compared notes on how the region's businesses are performing with One NorthEast and Government Office North East.
The conclusions painted a mixed picture. The CBI Manufacturing Regional Trends survey suggests the significant rise in costs in recent months has dented business confidence in the manufacturing sector and total orders have fallen for the sixth survey in a row.See the full content of this document
