Summary
RURAL communities will play a key role in deciding how pounds 2.1m worth of funding will be spent on promoting economic development in Northumberland's towns and villages.
The war chest, which will be allocated and spent over the next three years, has been approved by One North East as part of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).
