Summary
CHOOSING a school for your child is a huge decision, with countless factors to be weighed up. Choosing an independent school brings into play many more issues, including financial ones. How are parents to find their way through that minefield? Royal Grammar School is trying enormously to increase the support and advice it gives to parents as they sort out the issues and make that vital decision. First, it has appointed a dedicated Admissions Officer whose full-time role will be to focus solely on dealing with parental enquiries and help them through their decision-making and through the admissions process.
Marie Appleton joined the RGS in late August and her first task has been to set up a new programme of Information Evenings for parents which will lead up to the November Open Morning.
