NEWCASTLE teenager Kieren Emery will lead the British rowing team's medal push at the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney, Australia, this weekend.
The 18-year-old Tyne Rowing Club athlete was one of four from Team GB to win golds at the 2007 World Junior Championships and will compete in the pair, the four and the eight. Emery's fellow 2007 champions Matt Rossiter and George Nash are also part of the 20-man team, while Durham University's Wade Hall-Craggs coaches three of the crews.See the full content of this document
