SIR Alex Ferguson appears to have lost patience with Glenn Roeder over his treatment of striker Giuseppe Rossi, as he suggested the youngster would have been better off staying at Old Trafford.
Roeder managed to persuade the Manchester United manager to allow Rossi (pictured left) to come to St James's Park on loan just before the close of the transfer window because he assured the Scot he would play regularly in the North-East.See the full content of this document
