THE fate of hundreds of Gateshead children with special educational needs is under review.

Around 20 parents of pupils who attend the Cedars Special School in Gateshead were given the opportunity to air their opposition yesterday to proposals which would see the school stop admitting primary-age pupils from September 2009.
