Arecord entry is expected for this year's Dectomax Kelso Ram Sale. Hexham and Northern Marts yesterday announced an entry of 811 rams for the sale ( at which The Journal's Win a Ram winner will get to spend pounds 1,000 on an animal of their choice.
In addition to their annual entries of top quality bluefaced Leicester, unregistered Suffolk, Texel and Lleyn rams, the sale will host 321 pedigree Suffolk rams on behalf of Northumberland's most renowned breeders as well as a number of well known Border & Yorkshire producers. The Dectomax Kelso Ram Sales are the premier ram sales in the North. And Hexham and Northern Marts said it was delighted to have attracted this entry of outstanding Suffolk rams.
