POLICE forces across the North East have come together to launch a campaign raising the awareness of the danger of rape in the run- up to the festive period.
The six-week campaign - called Short Word, Long Sentence - is a joint initiative between Northumbria, Durham and Cleveland police forces and aims to remind both men and women that rape can ruin lives for victims and offenders.See the full content of this document
