LINGERING anger over the closure of a cherished Northumberland old people's home is to be raised in the House of Commons - by an MP from a constituency 250 miles away.

Campaigners are still furious over September's decision by the county council's Labour executive to shut down The Mount in Morpeth - and the subsequent deaths of several of the 18 elderly residents who were moved out.
