I NOTE that Sir Alan Beith, who had designs on taking the Commons Speaker's role so he could help to clean up British politics, can't even clean his own clothes.

He has used significant amounts of taxpayers' money to ensure that his laundry is cleaned at the taxpayers' expense, so that he is not inconvenienced when travelling between his northern home and that bastion of propriety, Westminster.
