THE prospect of making a will before you reach a certain age is not something people often think about, but it is one of the most important things you could ever do.

Death is such a sad, often shocking occasion that many people don't know how to handle practical things such as finances when they suffer the loss of a family member. Understandably, other things take priority, such as the funeral arrangements, and when the dust has settled, loved ones often find themselves in a web of paperwork. Putting all of your affairs in order and making a will may not be at the top of your priority list, but it is a sad fact that death may strike us at any time.
