POLICE in Northumberland are investigating a suspected incident of sheep rustling.

Twenty-six sheep have been stolen from a farm in Tynedale, officers said yesterday. The theft of the black-faced Swaledale sheep, taken from the farm in Bellingham, was discovered late last week.
