A curfew imposed on teenagers in a North town has been judged a massive success in dealing with anti-social behaviour.
Since the curfew began the streets of Deneside in Seaham, County Durham, long-suffering locals reported a large drop in low-level crime and anti-social behaviour. Police had been receiving an average of 50 calls a month from locals complaining about vandalism, rowdyism and on-street drinking from youngsters but this figure has now fallen dramatically.See the full content of this document
