APEN pal link to the creator of Tyneside's most infamous comic is set to pay off for nurse Ann Sandie - 30 years after she hid it from her church minister father. In the early 1980s Ann was 17 and at school in Lanarkshire, Scotland, when she had a part-time job working at a YMCA hostel in the village of Wiston Lodge.
