Parks 'Are Cultivating Prosperity'

Summary


NATIONAL parks help businesses prosper as a direct result of the purposes for which they were designated - conservation of landscape and cultural heritage.

The Prosperity and Protection Report, commissioned by the Council for National Parks (CNP), surveyed more than 400 businesses in and around three parks and found the parks were generating spending of pounds 660m by visitors and supporting thousands of jobs.
