The parents of a schoolboy who died after being trapped in a burning skip have spoken of their anguish after a teenager was convicted of killing their son.

Linda and Howard Temperley said their family had been left "totally devastated" by the death of Michael, 15, who they described as a bright, popular boy loved by all who knew him.
