I WONDER if your readers can help me? Eighteen months ago, my husband and I bought an ex-Ministry of Defence oil sullage barge called Nortech 3 to convert into a houseboat. She was built by Cleland's Shipbuilders at Wallsend in about 1979-1980.

We have searched everywhere we can think of for information on her, but seem to have reached a dead end. We would just like some information on the shipyard she was built in or, if we are really lucky, any information from the chaps who helped build her. Any photos would be really appreciated and all would be returned to their rightful owners. Thank you so much in anticipation
