A SWAN disrupted the electricity to more than 400 Northumberland homes yesterday after flying into an overhead power cable.
The bird caused the damage to homes in the Akeld and Wooler areas at about 2.45pm, and the power supply was cut to several villages for around three hours.See the full content of this document
