THREE PEOPLE were arrested yesterday in connection with an armed raid in a newsagent's on Sunday.
John William Hall, 24, of Seaton Avenue, Amanda Jayne Turnbull, 22, of Morris Terrace, and a 16-year-old male, all from Houghton-le- Spring, were charged with attempted robbery. Hall was remanded in custody until August 22 to appear before Newcastle Crown Court.See the full content of this document
