VENTURE capitalist NStar is changing its name to North East Finance to reflect its renewed focus on securing the finance needed to support a new generation of funding for North East businesses.
The company, working with One NorthEast, the European Investment Fund, the European Regional Development Fund and major private investors, secures equity and mezzanine funds in the region, as well as developing new equity funds focused on high growth sectors of the region's economy.
