Summary
Nuclear generator British Energy has benefited from higher power prices after posting profits of pounds 64m for the three months to July 3.
The group, which needed a complex financial restructuring to stay afloat two years ago, said it had achieved prices 37% higher than in 2004 at pounds 24.70 per megawatt hour ( adding that 85% of output for the year to the end of March had been fixed at pounds 31.80 per megawatt hour.See the full content of this document
