Summary
Tennis: Wimbledon star Andy Murray described victory over Frenchman Gregory Carraz yesterday as "one of the biggest of my life" as he reached round two of the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. The wild-card entry in Rhode Island beat Carraz 6-4 7- 5 in one hour 24 minutes. The first set was comfortable for Murray, as he faced just one break point, coming in the seventh game, before he broke his opponent in the 10th game to claim the set. Murray did not get a chance to break Carraz until the 12th and final game of the second set, but he converted the win on his second match point. He had four aces on the grass surface.
