A RECORD-breaking knock of 232 not out from Hassan Adnan put Suffolk firmly in the driving seat at the end of the second day of their Minor Counties clash with Northumberland.

Adnan's double-century - which included 28 fours and two sixes - is the highest individual score in Suffolk's history, eclipsing an innings of 229 scored by JF Ireland a century ago.
