THE recent letters from Mr Tapster and Mr Graham (Voice of the North, April 7&14) have prompted me to write.
Contrary to what Mr Graham writes, Milfield, at least, is not forgotten. The Borders (Milfield) Gliding Club, who operate from the site of the former Second World War airfield, unveiled a memorial to those who died during the war, in 2002. We hold a Remembrance Day service every year on November 11.See the full content of this document
