A CRUMPLED red phone box with a pickaxe in the side is set to be the highlight of an art exhibition when it is unveiled in the North- East this month.

Bosses at the Baltic have received permission from Newcastle City Council to install the work, by the "guerrilla" artist Banksy, in a prominent position near Newcastle Quayside.
