GLENN McCrory will move his International Boxing School into Newcastle city centre in the New Year - and Dmitriy Salita has had a first-hand view of the facilities which will be on offer, writes STUART RAYNER. The Ukraine-born American fights Amir Khan for the WBA light-welterweight title at Newcastle Arena on Saturday, and yesterday he went just up the road to Newcastle College to train at McCrory's new gym.
McCrory's gym has been based in Newbiggin Hall's Cheviot School since October 2006, but the North East's only boxing world champion thinks the new location will make it easier to attract future world champions.See the full content of this document
