AN INDUSTRIAL maintenance firm hopes to create up to 600 jobs over the next five years as part of an ambitious growth strategy which it believes will add pounds 45m to its turnover. Darlington- based Captus ProNet is looking to find 60 national equity partners over the next five years to help roll out its services across the country and grow its sales from pounds 5m to pounds 50m during the period.

The firm recently underwent a re-brand, changing its name from TMS Maintenance, and has worked on behalf of a number of large organisations, including Nissan, Toyota and BAA. Its directors had previously attempted to launch a franchise model in the UK, but found that the technical complexities of the business meant that its franchisees needed additional support.
