I 'M sorry to have to respond in this way butTom Shaughnessy is just wrong aboutexhaust gases.

In my last letter I said that nitrogen is the mainconstituent of power station exhaust gases. I didnot say (as was his interpretation) that nitrousoxides were the main ingredient. They are presentin trace quantities.
