IN reply to Peter Wood's inquiry about how many people would like to see the North East part of Scotland in the event of Scotland becoming independent (Voice of the North, October 29), I find a lot of his argument valid.
But I also recall that much of Scotland was once part of the kingdom of Northumbria. I would much prefer a reversion to that, but it requires the North East to fight for meaningful devolution first.See the full content of this document
