Summary
I UNDERSTAND Graham Wright's frustration with our Members of Parliament (Voice of the North, June 24). A contract is a contract and can be as simple as a verbal agreement or as complex as one brokered by the legal profession.
The difference is that a verbal contract is hard to prove, the other hard to get out of. However, if the verbal contract has been heard by others or written on a flyer manifesto you would think you could hold that MP or Government to account.
